This painting depicts the beauty of the Galilean countryside on the "Jesus Trail." The path climbs up, drops down and winds around bends, flanked by Hollyhocks, Lady's Lace, swaying dill, and stunning views as far as the eye can see. Jesus walked this path often from Nazareth to Capernaum, around the Sea of Galilee.
I could not resist including Him with me, just a little ahead on a dip in the trail, since His presence was so very real, even now in the memory of that time!
