On the trail that Jesus likely walked, weaving through the Galilean countryside, are forks veering off in diametrically opposite directions.
To stay on the trail and reach the desired destination of either Cana or Nazareth, there are piles of rocks to serve as path signs. One marked with a cheery yellow arrow, screamed to be painted! That is the inspiration behind this unusual painting.
It was easy to get lost if you were not observant, but easy to find your way back to the trail if you remained alert to these unusual markers.
They reminded of me Jesus's warning that broad is the way that leads to destruction, but narrow, and easy to miss, is the way to life!
May this painting be a reminder of that choice every human has to make while living on earth, before facing eternity.
