There are so many verses that came to mind when I saw boats on the Sea of Galilee, especially this one with a flapping Israeli flag on it. In the King James Version, they are called "ships."
Life giving words of Jesus were often spoken from the gently moving confines of a wooden boat, shifting on the waters of the Galilee.
"And great multitudes were gathered together unto him, so that he went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore." Matthew 13:2
